This would be a great item for weather enthusiasts of any age or ability. Each double page of the log has spaces for your readings from 7 days for three years so interannual comparisons can easily be made. It doesn't matter when you start taking your readings either (i.e. it doesn't have to be 1st Jan) as you'd just cycle through the book from whenever you start.
As well as the log, there are many great photos and explanations of various weather events throughout the book. It's certainly attractive enough to be incorporated into your daily routine for 3 years. I bought it as a gift but I think I will get myself a copy too!

This log book is a good idea and would be suitable for gardeners, bird watchers etc but there isn't enough room for anything other than a few bare weather facts.
I record rainfall, barometric readings, temperatures and cloud types twice a day and notes about changes day and night and can't fit it all in.

Bought this as a present. You can use it as simply to make brief notes on the weather from your weather station. If you prefer you can get really involved. Think I'll just do the former, think it will be great fun and interesting too.

A book for every day
I find looking back over past years (This is the second three year book that I have purchased) I find very interesting. Making up the days records each evening is quite facinating.
