Bought for use with a tangine cook pot to ensure gentle simmering on a gas hob;does the job very well and being stainless steel can be kept clean without rusting.Folds for easy storage

When we bought our new gas cooker we found that it was impossible to simmer liquids, or to gently fry onions, the basis of so many dishes, without browning them, even on the slowest ring. This diffuser improves the situation condiderably though I should like it to reduce the heat even more. The plastic wrapped handle removes easily.

I would recommend this product and would certainly recommend the suppliers who delivered very swiftly with no problems.

This diffuser makes it possibkle to cook gently on a gas ring which is fierce even when turned down. Onions do not burn when being softened. Stainless construction should bode well for the long-term life of this product.

Good value for money, hard to find item, works perfectly

Heath diffuser are hard to find, although I live in South London and there are loads of etnic shops... I ended up drilling a pan to create one (cost me �20 in drill points). Read more
