There is a feeling that you get when playing a Metal Gear Solid game that you get with no other franchise. The characters, the little details, the story, and level design are all part of the magic that makes them timeless and as good now as they ever were.
Here you get three of them for less than £30, which is almost the bargain of the century. Each one will give you many hours of entertainment and repeated playthroughs. And although it's missing MGS 1 and 4, it still has three top-quality additions to the series.
I was worried that my nostalgia was giving me rose-tinted spectacles and they may not be as good as I remember. But my worries were quickly blown array after a few hours of play. They are just as enjoyable now as they ever were. Actually more-so, with the new HD visuals (They look fantastic).
Do yourself a favour. Grab this while you still can.

This game brings back all the memories i had on the PS2 an now its been remade for xbox 3 games for this price is unbeatable! Its a must buy for all you MGS Fans

Well, what can you say about this, other than IT'S METAL GEAR.
Always loved these games (not so much peace walker but it's still a very good game), if you played this back in the day and are looking to update it in the HD era, here's your game.
Like another reviewer said, it's a shame that MGS1 isn't included, and i honestly can't figure out why it's not, but still i guess we do have an updated version of that game in MGS: Twin Snakes, so it's ok i guess.
But yh, brilliant game as it was years ago, the replay value still hasn't faded in the 11 years since MGS2 was released, which is saying something.
It's always nice to get stealth camo and mess with the soldiers ^.^
So like i said, good for nostalgia if you played these games back in the day on the old ps2, and good if you haven't played them before and looking for a game with a deep story, so 5* all the way imo.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Brilliant fun, mirrors the originals but in higher res at a higher frame rate. Downside you lose ps2's touch sensitivity on XBOX and some ratios are wrong but otherwise excellent
