unlike other works by stern, this was is much more meaty and will take time to thoroughly digest and break apart, and i suspect will require a handful of readings before a comprehensive appraisal of its content can be made.

that aside its content and the questions raised are of vital importance to both messianic jews and christians who with to reach out to the people Israel.

that aside, the publication is edition 1 and contained some awful spelling errors and typographic problems (i encourage everyone to wait for the next reprint)

Stern's work is simply 'vital' as a part of the process for Christians who are not Jews to begin understanding the difficulties facing Messianic Judaism.

This book may be hard work at times, and requires reading from cover to cover rather than dipping in and out, but it is an absolutely fabulous tool which will be highly beneficial to all who understand the fundamentally jewish nature of the Christian faith.

The only down-side consists in the poor typographical errors, but this in no way detracts from the book.

The author clearly expresses what he wishes to. The book has some very good analogies. It does seem to be selling you Messianic Judaism, like it is a very high status club. I do like the author's style of writing, but the questions and answers can get a tad monotonous, although still insiteful. My only qualm - typos! Stern needs an editor, or if he has, then he needs a new one.
