Thank you for your feedback.
It's a great product, good finish, perfect fit, very light.
I'm getting another art for day to day wear instead of other trainers - look pretty good as well with jeans.
Nice look, light as a feather, breathable upper, great vibram sole and true barefoot experience.

These are the second pair of minimalist shoes I own, the others being Brooks Men's Pure Connect 2. I picked up the Bare Access for two reason, Zero Drop and Cushioning. While they say they have cushioning it's actually quite a hard run. Yes there's cushioning but it's a harder compound then the PC2. This is more of an observation then a negative comment on the shoe. I'm moving from Asics Gel Pulse -> PC2 -> Now Bare Access 2.

These are great shoes. But it has highlighted that the PC2 are more a beginner shoe and BA2 for more seasoned barefoot runners. I have 3 months / 70k on the PC2, but using the Bare Access 2 felt like it was the first time I ever ran in minimalist shoes and gave my calf a pounding. Now this is what I wanted, a harder workout and moving closer and closer to true barefoot. But if you want a beginner shoe and cushioning I would suggest trying these and the PC2 before you buy to see which suits you better. I'm going to have to transition into these, when in fact I though I'd just put them on and go for miles.

The first thing I noticed was I though maybe they had sent an empty box they are so light !!!

I wear these everyday while at work the reflective stripes on the side are relatively discreet so I get away with them not being too much like trainers (I work in a hospital) and yet are very comfortable, I feel they are barefoot enough so much that I sense I am not heavily planting my heel down and my posture seems more upright when walking with them.

I would not suggest using them in wet conditions as the top is not waterproof but if you want to wear a great shoe everyday that you know is doing some good I would recommend these highly.

Had looked at a number of minimalist shoes for road running. Not as comfortable as my vivobarefoot shoes but these offer a compromise for winter miles on road / pavement. The extra cushioning takes a while to get used to and you need to concentrate to maintain form. The only downsides were some of the seams inside rub a bit on the stitching which has meant I have had to resort to using thin socks. If they could sort that then would be perfect.

I'm doing Insanity workout and some other high impact high intensity cardio workouts on wooden floors.
Found that normal trainers put real strain on calf muscles (to do with high heel support). These Merrells are perfect. wear them around the house for a few days before you work out - really helps with Plyo based workouts. I'm getting another art for day to day wear instead of other trainers - look pretty good as well with jeans.

These are the most comfortable trainers I have ever bought. I wasn't expecting quite the degree of cushioning in a barefoot shoe. I'm normally a size 8, but the 8 was too small. The 8.5 is perfect, but meant that I couldn't buy any of the women's colours as they only make the womens' shoes in sizes up to 8.

I use this item daily for going to work, walk and something like that. I haven't used for running yet. really comfortable, but you must have caution if you never have run with this kind of shoes. I don't think that isn't a barefoot transition shoes, but rather for advanced barefoot runners.
