After having read other titles by Tim Knapman to my daughter, I now look out for new ones by him.
Another funny, clever book with charming illustrations. All little girls love Mermaids and Princesses, and boys love castles, kings and dragons...this book has all of the above.

Brilliant Knapman as ever. Witty, sensitive and appeals to all ages. Used this book to entertain a whole primary school just recently and they ALL loved it. Super illustrations too.

Originally checked this title out from local library as had not heard of it before. It is a superb, fun and engaging book and I can't recommend it enough. Whether your child likes mermaids or not it's a fun story about a prince who has to marry a rich princess to save his "beachfront castle" which needs repairs. He marries for love rather than money and they all live happily ever after even their pet dragon Wilberforce. Great book and think I enjoy reading it more than my kids.

Beautiful book
This is such a lovely book for girls and boys, beautifully illustrated with an easy flowing story teaching the value of love and 'happy ever afters'. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this for my little girl (4) for xmas so haven't read it to her yet but have had a quick flick through I know she'll LOVE it!

Very funny story about a prince who needs a bride with some money to repair the castle, very well written with colourful illustrations, my girls love it.
