Gretel Parker's talent shines throughout this pop-up castle. The gorgeous illustrations have interest and depth lacking in some of the castles on the market at the moment. The mermaid castle is easy way to limit luggage on holidays and journeys. This book and a small pencil case of sylvanians (yes the size means it is suitable home for them as well as the mermaid) kept my daughter happy for many hours. It is robust and well made and even after an active summer holidays still unfolds and folds up again well. Definitely a good buy for 3-6 age group.
