Another brilliant book by John Farman! this is the 2nd in the series and its just as funny as the first (zulus, girls and videos) if not funnier.i loved them as a teen and im 23 now and i still read them.i would recommend buying all three at once because once you start reading you just can't wait for more :D

This book is brilliant. It may get off to abit of a slow start, but don't let that put you off. It just gets better and better, as Joe tells the reader more of his thoughts. Really, the only dissappointment is that the book does seem to finish in rather a hurry.
Sixteen year old Joe Derby lives a fairly normal life, identifiable by most teenage boys. He has trouble with girlfriends and is unlucky with most things.
Joe however, along with his mate, Merlin, makes films. Some of the best parts of the book take place while they are filmimg their latest venture, "La Maison Doom". To add to the great storyline, there is constantly brilliant humour from John Farman.
