I enjoyed reading this book even after seeing the episode on TV. I do enjoy watching Merlin on the telly however when reading the book it does give more detail in some scenes. Being it doesn't have the restrictions of time to consider. This is one book I would recommend.

not quite true to the series as the writer added one or two things that never happened which for me slightly spoiled a well written and enjoyable book

Obviously this book is the same as the Episode with the same title. Makes an ideal Gift for a true Merlin fan and helps to encourage reading. For an avid reader this book will possibly not take to long to finish, but then again, for an AVID Merlin fan to have this on your bookcase is a true bonus. Also collect the set to complete the picture on the spine. Hardback is best.
