Born in Scotland in the harsh winter of 1947 Merlin Fraser was extremely grateful to his parents for moving five hundred miles south to warmer climes while he was still young. Although brought up in a 1950's rural setting he developed a wander lust that took him to sea as a member of the Royal Navy. Although even after nearly ten years service his craving for travel sill undiminished he joined the oil industry and made it his career for the next twenty-five years. Born a city kid but a devout wildlife and country lover at heart he is back in the timeless beauty of the Cotswold Hills where he was brought up. Arriving late on the writing scene it is the start of his third career,with his first book 'Inner Space,'a dark mystery crime novel with sinister paranormal overtones.
