It's a great toy given the relatively low price and as all the other reviewers have pointed out, buy some extra darts from the vendor.
Although the aim-accuracy is fairly consistent, the cut-out targets on the rear of the shipping box are far too small to use for a 5-6m distant target, so I also bought some professional full-size paper archery targets from the same supplier, stuck them on hardboard & used a laminate spray to ensure smoothness for rubber-dart stickiness - so that my 7/8 year old kids had something sensible to shoot at that they can score on. Yes - that was a lot of effort, but what else do you naturally have in the house that is smoothly-sticky & that you want your kids shooting at?
Also - watch out for the front sights, which are simple clip-ons. On one of the two crossbows I bought it fell off twice during the first day and was then promptly lost, so I have now super-glued the sights onto the second toy.
