This is a very enjoyable book which kept me entertained from beginning to end. The book gives a wonderful insight into an era that is long gone and brings back to life some of the characters that were involved in Music Hall at the height of its popularity. I am very pleased that Fred Kitchen's memoirs have been published as I think Fred has been somewhat forgotten as one of the most popular comedians in Music Hall. I very much look forward to reading part two.
