Amazon Verified Purchase
A good value basic design that works well on FM; I've not tried it with TV or DAB. The base is very light so the unit needs careful positioning to keep it upright, but the two extending rods are easily balanced to achieve this. There is a screw slot in the base for wall mounting, if desired.
The telescopic antennae extend to 70cm and can be swivelled to gain the best reception. There is a 1.2m 75ohm cable attached which is fitted with an FM/TV style plug. One point to bear in mind is that a number of radio systems today are fitted with a male type connector - the same as the plug! So check to see if you may need an adaptor as well - Amazon and their sellers offer a range of suitable coax connectors for the job. The unit weighs in at about 400g.
For less than a fiver - inc P & P - you can't go wrong with this budget model. Five stars for value!

Had to move to a ground floor flat where I could not use a roof aerial, and was amazed that I got brilliant reception from this gadget on all the major stations, especially as my tuner is over 20 years old. Okay, it's a good one but I imagine that current models will be more sensitive to weak signals. What makes me really impressed is that the aerial is located in a corner at floor level, and virtually hidden by a book case. Hardly the best place for it, but it works brilliantly. Strongly recommended.
Works okay but the rotating movement of each aerial leg is very stiff and I'm worried that it might break with more use!!

Not bad
Clearly not the most sensitive aerial for FM but it's tidier than those wretched ribbon aerials and pretty cheap as well.
