Hi, welcome to my Mercenary for Justice review.
First of all I'd like to say that over the past few years Steven Seagal has produced a whole lot of cheap films. Films that would be ten times better if another person didn't do his fight scenes for him, speak his own dialogue for him and even walk down the street for him. With this movie - that is gone.
Not only does the movie have an intelligent storyline, interesting characters and clever escapes but it also has Seagal kicking butt with his own feet. The fight scenes are violent and are almost like a flashback to his older days. The direction is sleek, classy and reeks of cool. The big guns and the bright red police tanks are what remind me of Under Siege and Exit Wounds as well as the addition of cheesy one-liners that were not present in most of his other DTV flicks.
If you are a 80's and/or 90's cheesy action flick fan then grab a bucket of popcorn and a cool drink because you will love this fast-paced, witty and stylish movie from Seagal. This deserved to go the cinemas and from what I hear his next movie Shadow Man is even better.
Stay cool Seagal and keep kicking butt the way you were born to do!
Thank you for reading my review and enjoy the film if you buy it.
Thanks again,
Nathan Shepka.
