If you want to work out at home but aren't quite sure where to start, then this is a book that will definitely get you headed in the right direction.

Readers should also consider this book if you: 1) have exercise equipment and want to get better results, or 2) plan to buy exercise equipment for your home.

In a nutshell, the book starts out giving you basic muscle anatomy and then jumps right into pictures of dozens and dozens of exercises that can be done with all kinds of stuff in your home AS WELL AS dumbell, barbells, and other equipment you can purchase and use with in your home. The book ends nicely with miscellaneous advice on things such as the best workout videos, training logs, and advice on personal trainers.

A great book all in all, it will provide the reader with a wealth of info- and since the book is almost 2 inches thick, you can always use it to lift up and down for exercise! Also recommend "Treat Your Own Rotator Cuff" if you have a torn cuff or shoulder pain that is keeping you from working out.

With not having much time to visit the gym because of my working shift I decided to get some weights at home.

Now iv never really been shown how really to lift weights or what technique to use so had been plugging away in the garage for months with little improvement

i did a search and found this "bible" and I have to say its one of the best books I have "EVER" bought. From the start it tells you how to do several types for training. From no weights to a large at home equipment and tells you what you should be doing

If you want this book for the Gym then forget it as it doesn't include high spec gym stuff this is a book just for and only for home use

First off, there's some great exercises in this book and you wont be disappointed with the variety.
BUT!
It's titled Home Workout Bible, but I don't know about you but I don't have a Chin-up bar, a set of pulleys, or a multigym in my front room (the cats say no). So it's about as applicable to the home as 5 Airborne Brigade is to Dancing on Ice.
This book will be great if you already have a full gym at home or you're a member of a local gym, otherwise it's a tad limiting.
