I agree with the previous reviewer. This is a rubbish guide. The maps show nothing you want to go to. However I also take issue with the way the guide is written. It seems to be written by someone who hates the island. They hate tourists (Menorca is a tourist/family orientated island after all), but they also have little knowledge of the obviously more high brow things they feel they should be doing. I'm not certain who this book is aimed at. I found the tone sniffy and condescending, patronising to tourists who enjoy beach holidays but insufficient for tourists who like to go off the beaten track. Very poor... Come on DK eyewitness travel- show them how to do it!

Just some feedback on this guide. Basically it isn't informative and organisation of the guide is difficult to follow. Some things that were difficult:
- The index is not complete which makes it difficult to find the things you are interested in, e.g. if you are driving and find somewhere you may well not find it in the index even if there is information in the guide.
- The maps are poor and lacking in detail. There is a fold out map of the island in two parts on either cover but it is not as good as the free map that came with our hire car. The only town street map is of Mahon but there is nothing on Cuitadella. Even in sections where there is a walking or driving tour, there is no map of the route shown which makes it very difficult to follow.
- The beach guide isn't very good. There are many secluded beaches in Menorca that would be worth visiting - again showing these on a map so you could see which one's you are near would be helpful.
