Life-changing 13 July 2004
By A Customer
From the first page, I felt a huge weight taken from me, to learn that someone else has felt how I am feeling! Christine writes as if she had been sitting on my shoulder all throughout my 6-year relationship, as everything she spoke about I had witnessed. I am so pleased that I am not the only person to experience such emotions, and for months I was feeling depressed, upset, worthless and indolent. This book made me smile for the first time in a long time, and its probably the best book I have ever bought and most rewarding.

It is so easy to read, and I recommend anyone who has come out of a relationship to read this, whether they had an affair, they were part of an affair, their partner died, or were part of a mutual break-up, as Christine portrays every aspect of every broken hearted person. I seriously could not believe how accurate her views and advice were, and it makes it easier to believe knowing she is an English agony aunt!

Coming out of a relationship is always hard whether you have been left, or you are the leaver. Please, please read this book. If you had enough curiosity to read a review on this book, you will definitely benefit from reading "How to mend a broken heart". If I could give it 10 stars I would! Honestly, you will not be sorry for purchasing it!

A huge comfort 1 Dec 2004
By A Customer
This is what your best friend would tell you if they knew how to. This is an inspirational book and a huge comfort to anyone that is going through the painful process of a separation. It brings home to you that that you're not the only person in the world that feels the way you do. It gives sound and practical advice to deal with your agonizing present and holds your hand so that you're brave enough to face an optimistic future. I was recommended this book by a friend and have since recommended it to others who have found it equally useful. It's especially useful if your pain is very raw.

Really helped 29 Mar 2005
By A Customer
I agree with the first two reviews on this book- I found the book very helpful. Was so comforting to know that you're not the only one to go through these dreadful feelings, and that you're not stupid for getting upset/depressed over someone. A break up is awful and feels like the end of the world at the time, this book helps you to realise that thats not the case and there is a future. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.
