the dvd box set is as described, all 4 films on 4 discs in 2 dvd cases, the films themselves are very grainy, almost to the point of trantino's grindhouse films, i dont know what state the orginal films are in thats been used for the dvds but its not the best, but on the upside, its region 2 and has easy to find subtitles, to buy the movies seperate cost more than i paid to buy the box set. The dvds themselves are set around atrocities carried out by squadron 731 before world war 2, some of the effects are very well dated now and come across as cheesey but, dont forget these are based on real events! i dont want to go into detail of the films, but just the actual quality of the movies to dvd.
