In this the second of the four books Wilbur Smith has written about the Ballantyne family, he continues as in the first with excitement, hardship and struggles. The struggles and dissapointments of life and each other come across loud and clear. There is a brillant plot and you see how people can change. The plot runs smoothly and at different stages of the book, new or old charcters are brought into play. This is a brillant book well written and I recomend it to you. If you read the first book A Falcon Flies first it will make this read more enjoyable.
