I use memory stick pro duo memory cards in both my camera and cameraphone, so need to transfer the photos to my laptop (a macbook). hence this product was perfect for me (it replaced an old freebie card reader that was getting unreliable). i plugged it in and it worked straight away on my MacBook.
obviously you can buy more expensive ones with more slots etc but if you only use memory stick pro duo's then this is all you need.
my only minor complaint is it's not skinny enough to allow me to plug other things into the adjacent usb slots on my laptop at the same time.

Worked as advertised, reasonable price.
The card reader on my netbook wasn't working and this let me transfer my photos from my camera. It only works with the Memory Stick--it is not a general purpose card reader--but it is less likely to cause problems if you

Cheap and Cheerful
Handy little device - cheap and cheerful - does what it says on the box. Not the most robust construction but I'm not road building.

pro duo merory reader
I use this reader to transfer my photos from my Sony alpha pro duo card to my computer , it works great and i am very pleased much faster that conecting the camera and transfering.

Does what you expect!
MS sticks into the SIDE of the reader which then goes into a USB port. Does exactly what you expect - card is held firmly. Needs a USB socket with a bit of space around it. Read more

a good point not mentioned, you can insert a half size memory stick pro without using a carrier, and it has a cable loop.

Didn't work for me
Didn't work for me on XP on my laptop or on Vista on my PC. Neither PC even recognised it. I used a friends card reader with worked a dream.
