This NEW 2004 version of Navigator comes complete with seamless Ordnance Survey Landranger maps for the whole of the UK plus Ordnance Survey GB 1:250,000 Road Map and ?Search and Display? Index of over 250,000 places and points of Interest. Bring the latest 2004 maps to life with the new 3D View tool. Visualise your routes and tracks in an interactive 3D terrain model. Pan, zoom and spin the map or change the lighting to envision the hills during different times of the day. Every detail of the rasterised versions of Ordnance Survey Landranger maps can be viewed, including footpaths and contours. These features can then be used as a guide to create routes and waypoints that can then be transferred to your PocketPC or PocketPC / GPS combination. What's more, on a PocketPC the maps can actually be downloaded where "QuickChart" technology allows instantaneous scrolling and zooming of full colour maps. Printing the maps from PC or PocketPC also allows you to have a hardcopy of your route and waypoints - and if you want to scan and use your own maps you can.
