Product Description

Tough print is a 100% Waterproof sheet suitable for Colour and Black & White inkjet and laser printers/copiers. It can be written or drawn on and treated very much like regular paper. We've even put printed Tough print in a washing machine on a hot spin cycle without it loosing colour or tearing.

I bought some of this for printing maps and guides for use outdoors. Using a normal printer and ink (Canon MP272) the ink will run a little when the paper gets really wet, particularly if rubbed. However, the paper itself is waterproof and tough so doesn't fall apart when wet or folded up in my pocket.

It's the best solution I've found for my needs - I'd recommend using a minimum of ink, take care not to rub the surface when wet, and leave some blank space so you can hold the paper without touching any ink.

Bought this to print OS maps on for navigation whilst running. Works great. Just printed on highest printer definition using normal paper settings and got great print results with no smudging (Canon Pixma). Took map on a 21 mile jaunt in cold and muddy conditions and map is fine for re-use, doesnt tear and waterproof.

Real tough 'paper'. Need to make sure ink is waterproof also otherwise some smudging does occur.

Highly recommended for when laminating is not suitable

I have an Explorer Scout Unit and we have used this paper for maps when out on activities & expeditions. It is rip proof, waterproof and explorer proof

We print the map area onto the A4 sheet and this is by far easier than trying to handle a full OS map in high winds up a mountain. Keep the OS map as backup in your pack. Recommended to anyone out and about that needs waterproof maps etc.

We have been using for over 3 years so it really has been put through its paces now. We are able to reuse the maps again when going back to the same area with different groups so save some money too.

Used these to print maps for a cycle from Birmingham to Portsmouth.

Printed both sides and clarity was out standing.

Paper is rugged and can take a pounding and soaking and still useable!

This paper is great for printing maps on both sides ideal for long distance walks.
The paper is a little expensive but lot cheaper than laminated maps, I've known British weather can reduce a normal OS maps to pulp or cause it to bind together after a soaking.
The first time I used it the colours seemed a little faint but altering the print saturation on my Epson Printer soon sorted this.
Hopefully the printed image will not fade in sunlight, it can then be used for outside posters. Well done...Memory Map.

I use this plastic paper to print out OS maps when hill walking in Scotland . It seems to be almost always wildly windy and wet and this paper performs very well. It takes the ink from the printer like normal paper but never runs or smears in the rain. It folds easily and slips into a pocket so is always to hand . No more problems with flapping map cases, wet soggy maps, sharp edges of laminated maps or ink running in poly-pockets. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. It does the job.

Does the job and saves you having to laminate. However the paper is a little heavier than normal, so if you need lots of sheets to cover the journey, then it gets a bit bulky and weighty - also pricey. Probably useful if you want to give each person in a group a tough copy of the days map.
