How to Learn and Memorize Italian Vocabulary ... Using a Memory Palace Specifically Designed for the Italian Language (and adaptable to many other languages too)

If you'd like to improve your ability to learn Italian vocabulary by 100% ... 200% ... 300% or more using simple memory techniques that you can learn in 30 minutes or less, then this may be the most important book that you will ever read.

Believe it or not, it really doesn't matter if you think you have a good memory or not.

The information in this book will teach you:

* Why memory is like a bicycle everyone can ride (with some minor personal adjustments).

* The real reason why no one should ever be squeamish about memorization or learning a language.

* Why and how some of the most famous memory skills are applicable to learning any language, especially Italian.

* How you can easily create a 21 "letter location" memory system based on the basic alphabet Italian shares with English.

* Unique techniques that will have you literally "zooming in" on the Italian language.

* How to separate Italian words in the most effective manner for memorization.

* Two secret ways you can use relaxation to aid the memorization process. These two methods alone are worth the price of this book because they will literally eliminate the stress and apprehension as you learn Italian.

* And much, much more ...

These techniques have been used by real language learners, most of whom previously considered themselves owners of a "bad memory," to make real strides in learning Italian vocabulary.

Don't worry! None of these techniques are rocket science.

Frankly, if you can memorize a short email address or the name of a movie, then you can use this system to memorize a language as rich and diverse as Italian.

Plus, everything you'll learn in this book applies to every other language that shares the same alphabet with English. And with a little imagination, the ideas are easily transferable to other alphabet systems too.

But there's really no time to lose.

Every day that you are not using this simple vocabulary memorization system, you are literally stealing from yourself the joy of being able to read, speak and recall an abundance of Italian vocabulary as you easily expand the natural abilities of your mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid techniques 15 Aug 2013
By M. McManus VINE VOICE
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book details strategies for learning Italian, although the techniques work for other languages as well. The primary problem learners of languages encounter is memory - how to remember the thousands of words for your new language. The author details how memory techniques can be used to help anchor this. He leans heavily on the 'memory palace' technique, whereby learners imagine locations that they are familiar with (e.g. rooms in their home) and then imagine 'storing' the new words in them. He also relies on the 'funny story' method, whereby learners imagine something funny or strange in order to help them remember the word. For example, if the Spanish word for table is 'mesa', you might imagine a famous person throwing garbage all over the table making a 'mess' and thus you can remember 'mesa' more easily. All in all, a solid book, with techniques that can be applied to any language.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for me 1 Jan 2014

I thought that this would help me learn Italian. But I couldn't get past the first couple of chapters. It was becoming more complicated to learn the system than to memorise vocabularly by rote.

2.0 out of 5 stars Memory help 14 Dec 2013

This book seems to be a reworked version of a french memory aid. Have seen most of these techniques before and success depends on what kind of learner you are.

5.0 out of 5 stars With some little modification this really works! 11 Nov 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I tinkered with the system in the book making it a bit more individual to me but the system does work. The author doesn't go into much detail about italian vocabulary but the system can be adapted to any language. If you are learning a language give this a go!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, intuitive, engaging and effective 11 Jun 2013
By Julie Walter - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
The benefits of this book have been incredible for me. It showed me exactly how to use the system and get the hang of it. And the free newsletter subscription and worksheets that come with the book are very valuable for someone like me because I am serious about learning Italian but don't have a lot of time to spend on it. I absolutely wish I had encountered this book and the things it has helped me accomplish in such a short time years ago. It's shocking that these techniques aren't taught in school, but then I guess if they were, there wouldn't be any homework and teachers would be out of their jobs.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save Your Money 22 Aug 2013

First, not much new here, plus I've seen the technique described better. Second, a disclaimer--this technique does not work for me even though, as an engineer, I'm actually good with visuals. The problem, especially as described here, is that it's easier to simply learn the word! Particularly with nouns (which seems to be the emphasis here) it's just easier to mentally "re-label" rather than try and remember some weird "picture" and action and how this connects to the word you're trying to associate it with. A better book for this technique is Gruneberg's, Italian by Association. Again, most of the images don't really work for me, but a few of them took, so it's worth a try.

4.0 out of 5 stars A new and easy way to learn a language 12 Jun 2013
By Keith DuBarry - Published on Amazon.com

Since the world is globalizing quickly, it is best that we learn and use different languages. Right now, I'm fluent in both English and Swedish and want to work on my Italian much more. This book is definitely a great resource for me to learn a third language!

1.0 out of 5 stars Clueless? 8 May 2014

I read the book. Read it again. I do not have clue how a deck of cards and the anatomy of the author's cars helps to master Italian.
