Having read Debbo's "Wait for me" which I loved, I picked up this slim volume by her husband. He writes in a dry, man's sort of way, giving the straightforward unembroidered facts. It fills in some of the gaps left by Debbo and is written in a modest way about a very full life. Giving names of the rich and famous because they passed through his life but not in a pretentious way. He and his wife were very close to the Kennedy's and both books give an insight into the Presidential inaugeration and the funerals of both Jack and Robert. These books compliment each other and should both be read.
