16X disc's seem the norm now. and yes some recorders have problems.
was having problem with the last lot of discs i brought,(can't remember brand)(not on pc, but on TV dvd player/recorder in that not recognizing the disc.)
but these have all worked.

Have used quite a few of these, seem pretty good.

As mentioned by other reviewers they do have a note regarding the possible need for a firmware upgrade (to get the 16x recording speed) with some recorders, but this will apply to all brands of 16x disks.

Have burnt plenty of these in a Sony DVD-RW drive with no problems, but have never tried them in a standalone DVD recorder.

complete poo they dont work unless you download a softwear and even then not all dvd players will play them. there is a small note saying this on the tin but its sly that you cant see that notice on the photo and there is nothing in the description. my advice buy another brand i dont know why they have done this but its a pain in the neck.
