More ghostly than horror 7 Mar 2006

If you're expecting something alongs the lines of the 'Ring', 'The Grudge' or other more mainstream films of this genre, you'll need to watch the film with an open mind. 'Memento Mori' is a more sensitive and emotionally complex film than the former titles, although that's not to say it is lacking in some genuinely shocking moments.

'Memento Mori' takes some commitment to watch as it is slow to start, but stick with it and once it's over, you'll be left with the same thought-provoking feeling that these films bring out so well.

I don't know what I like most in this ghost movie: perfect story, great filming quality, stunningly convincing actresses or maybe the obvious fact that it's not an horror film. I understand that horror fanatics may be disappointed, but everybody else can enjoy this touching and often poetic story. Highly recommended.

This is not a typical horror movie, but a sensible and often poetic work about love, death, rejection and friendship. Beautifully filmed, it's much brighter than the other films from the series, and the music is excellent too. The young actresses are amazing. Great film, not to be missed.
