Engaging, bittersweet, heart-rendering: Maybe not words you'd expect to hear about a book from this category, but it's all this and more. In it's few pages 'Melrose and Croc' manages to captivate the imagination of children and adults alike with the Christmas Time story of a starry-eyed young crocodile who arrives in the big city with a suitcase full of dreams. His visit is to collide, quite literally, with that of the metropolitan but lonely Melrose the labrador. Their lives will never be the same again...
