With so many iPhone cases available, it's difficult to know which one to choose. I chose this based on the images on web page and it has completely lived up to my expectations. The iPhone fits into the case very well and is held snugly. The case is nicely made and the stitching around the edge is accurate. The iPhone is well protected but the edge buttons are accessible. The case is very quick to open when the phone rings. Finally, any case is going to make the phone a bit larger, but this is about as slim as could be acheived.

Amazon Verified Purchase
The case fits the iphone 4 well, all buttons and holes are accessable; the lid stays shut it is - non magnetic type with instead a bent metal lip so does not affect GPS, i just bent it ever so slightly more to ensure a firmer lock / grip. The leather gives a nice finish. There is no obstruction what so ever for the camera or flash so no need to remove from case. BUT the big "IF", is the leather strap / hinge linking the main body of the case (holding the iphone) to the lid - will this one centre metre little thin leather strap last for more than 8 or 9 months? For the price paid I would like to see a far stronger strap with possibly man made fibre as well as leather. Bearing in mind you have to hold the folded lid at an angle when using camera I dont think it will last longer than 9 months which will be a shame and an expensive purchase.

Smart, slimline and well made. No damage when my phone was dropped (accidentally!) onto a tiled floor.
Also bought an Otterbox for heavy duty protection but always use this Melkco leather case as it slips easily into a pocket and provides enough protection for normal everyday use.
Have had it for a couple of months now and it has kept its good looks despite continuous use.
