This is a great toy, the kids love it. It teaches hand eye coordination and is a useful tool to help learn counting/sorting for the older ones and farm animals for the younger ones.
Its suitable for a wide range of ages. A great durable, fun toy thats going to last a lot longer than the usual 5 minutes!

I love Melissa and Doug toys, they're fabulous in terms of educational value and very friendly and innovative, not to mention the high quality and durability put into the toy. My little one loves counting to ten, so I thought it would be a fun way to introduce her to 'understanding counting', additions, substractions, and simply 1 bead in 1, 2 beads in 2, etc. She got frustrated handling the magnetic wand and moving the beads around, even more so, she got frustrated with me trying to explain putting only one bead in one, that was way over her ability (at 2, it's no wonder), so it's not suitable for a young toddler. I've put the toy away for now and will re-introduce it when she's older but still think it will be an absolutely brilliant toy to introduce arithmetics.

I was originally looking at a similar maze made by Lakeshore which was retailing at £50. This is a much better item at a fraction of the price, no lesser quality, does teh same job. The kids like these mazes, and so do Mums as they are soooo easy to clear up (no small pieces)! Would certainly recommend.

Number Maze
This is a very entertaining way of learning about numbers, so that the child does not realise that they are in fact getting a good basics of number work.

Missing piece
Nice looking product. Promotes dexterity. Promotes counting. Only issue, but a very annoying one, is that one of the little balls is missing so completing the game is impossible. Read more
