I bought this for my 3yr old's birthday, and it has been a huge hit. It's good quality, there is a fairly wide variety of outfits and shoes, and tbh I think it has value in helping her to understand what type of clothes go together - she's now making those decisions for herself as well as Maggie.
The lid (or lack of it) is a minor niggle, as the rest of the box is wooden and it is obviously meant for storage. But easily solved by slipping into a fabric bag if we take it anywhere. And we honestly hadn't noticed the lack of a swimming costume of pyjamas!

This was purchased on behalf of our son for his five year old niece's birthday and it was excellent in all features bar one - the lack of a "lid" on the box most disappointing as there were many small parts which could easily go missing.
However, the finish, colour and smooth edges and the overall design and the box itself is highly recommended. Just a pity about the lack of the container being fully enclosed.
However, I went on to purhase another Dress up Doll set for another five year old granddaughter which is recommendation.

Really nicely made sturdy wooden doll with easy to fit magnetic clothes. My one gripe would be not quite a big enough range of clothes. We've only had it a few days & already my daughter has announced "Maggie wants to go swimming" oh dear! No swimming costume & "Maggie tired" - yes you've guessed it! no PJs! Otherwise a super toy.

Very nice toy!
My 2year old daughter just received the toy. She has enjoyed the novelty of it and we spoke a lot about what the girl is wearing and what top goes with what shoes and so on. Read more
