I bought this for my three year old grandson on the birth of his brother. He was delighted with the transporter and plays with it along with his wooden fire station.

I have to admit I bought this more for me than my son, clearly I need to get out more as I'm still quite fascinated by the hinging rear trailer!
On the other hand, this takes pride of place for the intended recipient and is the first toy to come out of the toy box in a morning. It has taken a real hammering since I gave it to him at a stage when he was probably still a little too young, but it shows no sign of the ill treatment it has had.
Usefully the cars are of the same gauge as most wooden railway, so the cars have acted as extra rolling stock keeping him entertained.
Well made, quality old school toy which feels lovely in your hands.
