We bought one of these for our little boy who was 2 last week. It is brilliant. He will do as he's told if the pirate tells him to do something, like let me brush his teeth, which is often a real chore. The quality of the puppet is brilliant, and everyone who sees it wants to have a go. The fact that you can take the wooden stick out, or swap to either hand/hook is also really good, and means that you can have the puppet doing actions so much better than other puppets.
One problem, the wooden stick got broken this morning, so that's not all that durable, I'm really surprised as it seemed very sturdy - it may be that a 2 year old is a bit young for it - we should keep it out of his reach, hopefully we can repair it. The puppet itself appears to be of very good quality.
I would seriously think about getting another one in the future, maybe a knight......

My three year old nephew LOVED this toy. It's a wonderful puppet and looks fabulous with the other characters. So much fun!

It is really lovely puppet toy, great to children who likes pirates. Help to use their imagination. It is good quallity toy, has got a wooden handle that you could insert in his hands, to make them move.
