Product Description

Mel Beeby’s eighth adventure takes her to medieval Japan, searching for a lost soul. New-look cover for an angelic series rebirth!

Mel and Reuben have been studying Soul Retrieval, running through all manner of challenging scenarios in virtual reality, in order to learn the specialised skills necessary to rescue human souls. The two angels are sent to Japan, to try and re-unite a young girl’s soul with her body, as she lies in a coma. It isn’t her time to die. In their quest for the soul, Mel and Reuben have to enter a realm that’s magical and exquisite, like an idealised Japanese fairy-tale dream. Feudal lords, fabulous magical castles, ninjas, wandering monks, waterfalls, demons and shapeshifters. But like all dreams, it has its dark side, and the Japanese afterlife has some extremely scary aspects. Mel and Reuben must stick together… and at the end, there is even a little hint of romance for our two angel buddies!

Bimbo In Limbo 28 July 2004
By Aileen
Format:Paperback
This is a grt book! i was only kidding with the heading ^_^
I love this book! it's SO kool.
It starts off with Mel having a cosmic freak attack and declares that she wants to quit being a celestal adgent (NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!) but for Reubs' sake she goes on 1 final mission: to save the soul of a young Japanese pop-princess from the spirits of a limbo dimensition!
the plot is fun, the characters; lovable and the adventure is on-going. plus u get to realise ( before Mel) thgat someone has a crush on her! i wont say who, but . . . lets just say, i would have never guessed it!
Because of this, I give it 5 stars (if i could give it more, i would!) go on and get it, u'll thank me for it!

This book is getting more and more into all the fictional things in heaven, E.G. "Limbo" is the name of a cosmic no-man's-land that exists between the human world of time and space and the shimmery light fields of the afterlife.
The Universe is setting Mel up big time, only she doesn't realise it strait away. In this book we find Mel and her buddy Reuben going on a soul retrieval course which is why they are picked to travel to limbo in search of the soul of a young japanese pop idol called Tsubomi (pronounced sue-bo-mee). They enter a video game world with ninja's, demons and just generally wierd stuff. Mel and Reuben have to get Tsubomi to realise she doesn't belong there and she needs to go back home.

COOL!!!!!!!! 27 Jun 2004
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is wicked. Mel Beeby has been to some weird places but NEVER japan!!!!! I like this book cause it has a twist to it. It was enjoyable to read cause its about:
mel beeby is on a mission to find a japanese popstar soul but the pods are after it to. The book is a game because mel is like playing a game if she doesit right she wins and gets the soul if she does it wrong she has to try to make up for it.
I think ANNIE DALTON is wonderful and she should write some more angels unlimited books (can't wait for keeping it real to come out-angels unlimited)
