We bought this baby-carrier to use with our newborn baby. We have used it from when she was 3 weeks old and weighing more than the minimum recommended weight of 8lb. The carrier is well made and the stitching looks very sturdy. The shoulder straps are also padded, making it comfortable to wear. Our baby looks secure in it and appears to be very content, staying asleep for a couple of hours at a time - we wear the carrier with the bottom strap folded under the main panel to make it slightly smaller and more snug for our newborn (there are videos available online to show how to do this). It is easy to peep in both the top and sides to check that she is okay. The carrier is reversible so can be worn with the plain side showing if wanted and it is also machine-washable. We are delighted with it and baby seems to be too - a great carrier at a great price!
