Short on needless history but long on those valuable basics on how to get going this is a 'must have' book for anyone just starting out in henna. The exercises shown quickly get you into the swing og the basic patterns and there are plenty of patterns to start you off. About the only down side is that the recource section is entirely US based.

a must have purchase 6 July 2000

This book has it all. It covers the background, looks at how to start as a henna artist, and is very useful to people who are already artists! It is written in a simple no-nonsense way and simply it is a book that you can carry around anywhere (paperback)
