Product Description

Meg and Mog fly off on an adventure to Egypt. As they land on top of a pyramid, Meg accidentally lets go of her cauldron and poor Mog falls out, so she has to bandage him up. While Meg is getting help, Mog is mistaken for a cat mummy and put inside the pyramid. Luckily Meg manages to rescue him and makes a spell to take them home.

My daughter is almost 2, and she loves Meg and Mog, as the primary colours and the bold illustrations attract her attention. Generally the stories are easy to follow and fun, but this one is perhaps a little confusing for very young children. Still lots of meddlesome fun had by the characters but not the best of these wonderful books.

My son loves it every time Meg makes something explode, every time someone gets the cauldron on their head and generally when things go bang and clang. All the Meg and Mog stories are brilliantly original, but the bangs and clangs make them very recognizable and link them all together.
I wrote translations for the spells in pencil between the lines, so that I don't have to make them up every time I read the book to my son, which is about 12 times per day.

My daughter loves these books and since they are not sold in book shops any more as they are not considered 'politically correct' thank you to Amazon for stocking them!
