Egg's sorta pointless since it takes some manipulation to put the owl pieces all inside and get the egg to close...could have been just a touch bigger. Daughter loves this character for some reason and it's a decent accompaniment to the PBS TV show. Well-made, plenty sturdy. No sharp edges from the molding process. Good quality colors and snug fitting parts...goes together just like it does in the show, O-W-L, without the sound effects.

Owl is a weird character to pick for this type of toy, since I don't remember him ever appearing on WordWorld. Anyway. You have to disassemble him to fit him into the egg. No biggie, but the egg doesn't latch properly and constantly comes apart. Meh, I love the duck one though.
Great toy for kids!

My 6-year child loves the word world toys. She loves this one! She is autistic and this toy draws her attention. She spends lots of time playing with it and other similar toys.
