Halo mega blocks instructions were easy to follow for my 11 year old who took great pride in what he built. He was able to play with the finished product without it falling apart too so great buy for his age group.

This toy was very difficult for my son to build and he builds Lego with his eyes shut with just as many pieces or more the Mega Blocs products could be a bit more user friendly design. Apart from that when it was finished it looked the part but some parts of the structure continually fall apart no matter how many times they are re-assembled, they are second best to Lego.

My 10yr old grandson requested this toy for Christmas. His father sensibly assembled it before Christmas day to avoid dissapoiting his son. However, the model started to break apart very quickly when it was played with and it was put away for a total re-build using glue. I undertook the re-build as my son couldn't face doing it again. It took me about 25 hours to complete, and to be honest, the model does look quite impressive once completed. However, I found the 40 page instruction booklet misleading and could not be relied upon for accuracy. I found a magnafying glass very useful.
This model is made from 'MEGA BLOKS' which are basically olive coloured lego bricks for want of a better description, and anybody purchasing one of these toys should be aware of how fiddly they can be to build.
At over £80 I think toy is over priced and is only worth half that amount.
I therefore do not think it is value for money and I certainly would not recommend it.

Excellent,My son loved building this it kept him quite for a couple of days, no problerms with missing parts.

The star ratings don't give the full story!
Initially, one VERY disappointed son on Christmas Day as there were several pieces missing and 3 pieces had not been moulded correctly so did not fit at all. Read more
