We bought this for our son's 2nd Christmas. It is durable, and fun. There are tools (a screwdriver, hammer and spanner) and they can be used with the nuts and screws in the set. This toy promotes role play, manual dexterity and has been played with for hours and hours by all three of our sons on its own and with other mega blok sets. From a mum's point of view the lidded box is big enough to store this and other mega bloks sets, and is sturdy enough to sit on. I said that we bought this for our son's 2nd christmas, well he is now 12, so it has been in constant use for 11 years!

This is a good toy, but I think the lid to the box is not sturdy because it does not really stays at it's place and wobble!But overall it's fine, my son plays with the blocks and the tools and the good thing about it is that you can tidy all the blocks inside the box!

Bought this for my very active 12 month old godson and he loves it. the box is quite big but his mum likes it because once he has finished playing she can pack it all away in the box easily.
