Purchased as a long awaited xmas present for Son.11 years old/ 900 plus pieces so knew good occupier!! wouldnt recommend under 10 as lots of fiddly pieces which would drive adult mad! My son stayed doing it till complete..10 hours!! Excellent product would rec.

Bought this as part of our oldest Son's Christmas present, he has been looking at them for a while and wrote them down for his choice of things he would want.
Had looked elsewhere, but were much more expensive, so came back to Amazon as it was much cheaper here, Son absolutely loves it.

Bought this for christmas for a complete Halo devotee who is also an expert Lego builder. The model itself is a great design and large enough to warrant the high price but the main downside and one which we feel is an argument for stating that it's not fit for purpose, is that many of the pieces are badly made - meaning that there have been quite a few instances where we have had to intercede and make the holes bigger with screwdrivers etc in order for the bricks to click together or to move the bricks slightly in order for them to align when pushing together.
Unlike Lego which is reliably made in terms of alignment and sizing of interconnecting pieces, Megabloks seem to fail in their quality control.
A good model, but very irritating to construct.
