My 7 year old liked this so much, we bought him a futher 2 sets to join his coasters together. We have had hours and hours of fun with this. Once you get the hang of it, you can build your own coasters in no time. It's very educational and teaches patience and physics - learning how the ball needs speed at certain times and needs to slow down at others. If you don't get this right, then the ball will either stop or come off the track. But this isn't a fault of the game, it's a fault with your design and that's what makes it so interesting, learning to get it just right.
We have built some amazing tracks in the year we have had the game and the satisfaction my son gets from the end result is priceless. Only problem is that we never want to take it down afterwards - I could sit for hours watching the balls going round, it is very relaxing.
This game has halved in price since last year (it used to be £80) and is well worth the money. It is also very well made, having been assembled and dis-assembled more times than I can remember and still in perfect condition.
There are so many poor quality kids toys around these days and this is NOT one of them. Probably the best game my son has ever had.
