Product Description

Product Description

Meg, Mog and Owl are back in a wonderful outdoor adventure. The three head off in a canoe for an exciting hunting trip but it doesn't take long for things to start going wrong. First, they forget to tie up the canoe, then they can't find anything to eat and finally disaster looms when they can't light a fire. Meg resorts to using one of her trusty spells, managing to conjure up a charming Chinese dragon who lights their fire, provides something to eat and flies them all safely home.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the other books, 18 April 2011
This review is from: Meg up the Creek (Meg and Mog) (Paperback)
We have Meg and Mog, Mog and the zoo and Meg's Eggs and this book. The other books are great but this one doesn't really have a story and is hard to read out loud. It just seems a bit random.

5.0 out of 5 stars As much fun for the parents as for the children, 30 Mar 2011

This review is from: Meg up the Creek (Meg and Mog) (Paperback)
My son loves it every time Meg makes something explode, every time someone gets the cauldron on their head and generally when things go bang and clang. All the Meg and Mog stories are brilliantly original, but the bangs and clangs make them very recognizable and link them all together.
I wrote translations for the spells in pencil between the lines, so that I don't have to make them up every time I read the book to my son, which is about 12 times per day.
