A board book version of this classic Meg and Mog story. It's Mog's birthday and he decides he'd like to go in a space ship for his birthday treat. One quick spell later and Meg and Mog are zooming off to the moon! They eventually land and have a great adventure with two friendly astronauts, jumping around in zero gravity and even sampling some tasty space food. But all birthday treats must come to an end and Meg and Mog set off home where they are greeted by Owl and a delicious birthday tea.
About the Author
Helen Nicoll worked with Jan Pienkowski for over twenty years, first at the BBC and then on the Meg and Mog titles. She owned and ran the audio company Cover to Cover for many years. Helen lives in Wiltshire. Jan Pienkowski is a celebrated illustrator of children's books. He has won the Greenaway Medal twice - for his illustration of Joan Aiken's The Kingdom Under the Sea and for Haunted House. Jan lives in London.

Excellent book for babes,

Simple, but interesting - a real, lasting hit. Plenty to talk about, noises to make, counting, lots to look at in the pictures. I am a fan of Meg & Mog, but I think this book is my favourite.

My grandson's have already made me read this book lots & lots of times, its safe to say they love it.
I have now got to order another 1 from amazon who i might add sent out my order with great satisfaction as it arrived earlier than anticipated

My daughter loves these books and since they are not sold in book shops any more as they are not considered 'politically correct' thank you to Amazon for stocking them!
