Album Description

The follow-up to Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers features an original score by the great Randy Newman (Toy Story, The Natural, Monsters Inc., Seabiscuit). Newman, who has become as acclaimed for his film scores as for his classic pop songs, shows off both talents here. Along with composing the score, Newman has written two original songs, which he performs here.

1.0 out of 5 stars Meet the dissapointment !!!, 13 Feb 2005

Wow, I can not believe that two of the best songs of the film were cut off. 1.- Rock and roll part II ( Gary Glitter) and 2.-Get it on (T. Rex).
The rest has been said in the other costumers reviews.

3.0 out of 5 stars So-so movie, with great actors to follow., 19 Nov 2009

The movie is not much to my taste but I love the acting by those legendary actors/actresses.

4.0 out of 5 stars why so long a wait?, 13 Jan 2005
By Heather S. Leabman "heathersl" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Meet the Fockers (Audio CD)
I must have checked 10 stores for this soundtrack when the film made its debut 12/22 and it took too long to release! The soundtrack is an eclectic mix of vocals and instrumentals that conjure up Greg's paranoia, Jack's stern and conservative attitude, and the Fockers' overly-relaxed welcome - even some tunes to remind us of the adorable Little Jack! "We're Gonna Get Married" plays over the opening credits and "Crazy 'Bout My Baby" plays over the end titles. Like the reviewer above, "If I were a Carpenter" is the most beautiful song ever written! Bravo to true lyrics and the original version! The Florida salsa mixes were a blast too - so why only four stars?? Where was Rock and Roll (Part 2) by Gary Glitter, played when the Flower man takes down Mr. Mom on the footy-ball field! AHHH! I hate when key songs are omitted - I know it's been overdone, but at least I have "Moonlight Mile" to compensate. Buy with "Meet the Parents" - a great set. You'll never forget the voilin string as Mr. Jinx flushes pitiful Moses down the portable RV toilet!
