I love Patricia Arquette, first saw her in Stigmata and have been a fan ever since. She is "normal", has got a little more homely as time as gone on, like we all have, but her believable performance in all these series are so watchable.
I do wonder why the phone is not her side, as poor old Joe has her leaning over him every time it rings at two in the morning, if the cable wont reach why dont they swop sides of the bed? I know a mere trifle, also he is so long suffering, that no matter what time she jumps up from a nightmare, he is so sympathetic and understanding, she is also in her own little physic world, and Joe is always trying to keep it in perspective.
The winning formulua is that all of the family are growing up with her, no-one has been replaced and Arial is as interesting as ever. Bridget is gorgeous and the little baby girl utterly delightful watching the snow screen on the tv!!
Angela Houston has recently joined and they work extremely well together. Buy this, from Series 1, I have BT Vision and they are showing Series 4, but all the stories are really worth while and twist and turn. I think the writing is exceptional. I know, its only a programme, but I like believable and I think the writers have thought of this and made it so. Her daughters are just as you would expect them to be, single minded and dying to grown up. Joe's dad popping up at the most inappropriate times is a hoot. Thank you for all the hours of entertainment the writers of Medium.
