This book really is an ideal recipe book for summer, whether you are vegetarian or not. It is crammed with great classics and stylish summer dishes, all packed with vegetables and fruit, all healthy, all delicious. It would be a great coffee table book or a popular gift, as it looks so attractive - the colourful pictures made even my husband want to start cooking immediately - yet it is also a good quality, solid book that will withstand the spills and tears of a busy kitchen. Unlike a lot of glossy, stylish cookery books, it does actually contain a lot more recipes than pictures, and in typical Rose Elliot style, these are recipes that work and are easy to follow. I buy a lot of recipe books and find that I use about one recipe in the book...not the case with this book, which is packed with recipes that are appealing and useable. I feel healthier - and hungrier - just looking at it!
