Dear friend,

I want to take a moment to talk to you, personally. My name is Patrick Smith, and I'm a passionate body builder, Internet marketer and personal development coach. It is my experience and belief that all people have the ability to better their lives, if they are pointed in the right direction. I live and teach by example and try to give some of my passion to others, and to you.

Things were not always this way. About ten years ago, many members of my family were obese and did not take their health seriously. That was until two of us got sick with a fatty liver disease. I was barely out of my teenage years at the time, but it was a wake up call, which got me to take the lead in changing the ways we were living and thinking.

My research into health and nutrition sparked a passion in me that I am living to this day, not only by helping people around me, but also as a writer of books on personal development, nutrition, health and financial freedom.

This book features 60 mouthwatering Mediterranean Diet Recipes that are so simple and easy to try at home. Aside from the delicious recipes, this book also contains brilliant information on Mediterranean Diet, its essential concepts and health benefits. The FAQ section added a better understanding on this type of Diet. With the Mediterranean diet, you give your body exactly what it really wants: healthy foods in enough quantity.

Mediterranean Cookbook by Patrick Smith is so much more than a cookbook. The author also talks about the foods you should eat and why. He also goes through the benefits of eating Mediterranean style before even getting to the recipe part. Which of course is the best part!

The recipes are tasty and simple, healthy and written in an organized fashion. Grouped simply so you can easily find what you're looking for. Another hit for Smith with the recipe books. Added this one to my collection and ready for the next one!

Patrick Smith’s book not only gives a great variety of recipes, it has a lot of excellent information about the Mediterranean Diet. It provides easily understood explanations of why certain foods are healthy and why adding olive oil and nuts to the diet is recommended and helpful. There are handy lists of what to stock in your kitchen pantry, freezer, and on your counter. The book is divided into sections for each meal of the day, including snacks and side dishes. I particularly like the breakfast recipes. This book would be a great purchase for anyone interested in a healthy lifestyle!

Great recipes! I'm looking forward to trying nearly every recipe in this book - I don't say that for many cook books! Very well-balanced overview of the Mediterranean lifestyle. Great introduction, and includes some great recipes. There is much more to the Mediterranean lifestyle than just olives and wine. It’s gathering for food with our friends, family, and community that really reenforces our human connections and emotional balance. A must have book in your kitchen if you are in exploring Mediterranean food.

I already have volume one which I loved and was excited to see volume two come out. Patrick has put together a great list of recipes that are sure to satisfy anyone. Even people who only dabble with the Mediterranean diet will love this book. That is the great thing about these recipes. You can use these in your every day life without worrying about dieting. I really enjoyed Mediterranean Muesli and the Grilled Sandwich which was bursting with flavor. I definitely recommend grabbing this and volume one.

Another great cookbook by Patrick Smith! In this book Smith discusses the Mediterranean diet, its health benefits and how to easily follow the diet. He goes over the food pyramid in relation to the diet and explains why there is such an emphasis on breakfast. He also helps you prepare your kitchen for the transition to the Mediterranean diet. And of course there are the recipes! Yum! Broken down by meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, sides and snacks) this book is loaded with great, yummy dishes. There are some great ones like "Breakfast Frittatas", "Zucchini Pancakes", "Chorizo with Rice" and "Citrus Patties".

Mediterranean diet = healthy. I like the way this book is written from the introduction of what Mediterranean diet is, to the food pyramid and then the recipes. Unlike any other cookbooks I've had, I really appreciate that this book reminds me to consume 8-10 glasses of water in a day and get an exercise even just by doing chores or walking. The recipes in this book are simple, healthy and I would say delicious. I am glad this book introduced me to Mediterranean cuisine. I love it and I will try them all!
