We have just replaced this clock after using it only a month. It came equipped with a continental mains adapter but Amazon readily replaced this. Setup was difficult - the instructions did not translate well from German into English. The clock has a number of features but more of them are gimmicks rather than useful. There is, for example, a Relax mode which cycles through various light colours, but it does not appear possible to assign any of these to the wake-up light. There is no option to the 30 minute light-up period and this process is quite jerky, unlike the smooth process observed with other such clocks. The snooze bar is easy to access but the snooze function does not just silence the sound - it also turns off the light, defeating the purpose of the wake-up light function. The button to turn off the alarm is very small and stiff and requires holding the clock with one hand while pressing the button with the other. Setting the alarm time requires a number of button depressions in a non-intuitive sequence. Good features are the ability to program two different alarms and a choice of back-lit display colours and intensities, but these are not enough to justify continued use of the clock.
