this great machine in ideal to getting to those parts of your back that you can't get to alone!!!! It's quite big, and not really for traveling, but it's good to have at home, and I use it regularly. The extra bonus of infra red means that you can heat up the affected area first then give a massage and heat afterwards. it's not the quietest of machines but that's because it is pretty powerful and really does help to relax the muscles and get rid of tension. I recommend it .

Too heavy for a person who has shoulder pains; Cannot hold with vibrations too long as it leaves hands tickling!. Infra red heat? What heat?. Just a red light. Better if it came with a vice to attach to furniture. Longer cord needed too.

I found this product helped a great deal in the healing of my strained calf muscle.
The injury was very painful & sensitive to touch so the heat from the smooth light was soothing & bearable.
The only fault was the flex it is not long enough I needed to use an extension cable.
All in all a very useful item to have at home.
