(well in english now) This guy is that kind of singer which songs are just unbelievable. They take you from scratch to 7th sky. Any doubt ? just taste it. You want to know his second name ? "taste me, take me" :-)

This is a terrific CD designed for the international market, compiled from 4 cassettes recorded with local African audiences in mind. Dieng is one of the hottest singer/composers in Dakar whose live performances always draw huge crowds. His music is largely straight ahead, hard driving M'balax but it's very varied and highly listenable. Buy this CD and hear the sound of contemporary urban Africa in all its sophistication and complexity.
